Video Editing Workshop for Beginners is a follow-up to our audiovisual workshop for beginners but also functions perfectly as a standalone session. It is designed for anyone who wants to dig deeper into the audiovisual world and take one more step forward in creating compelling videos using professional editing software like DaVinci Resolve, which is completely free to download.
It’s an excellent follow-up workshop, but it also works well on its own for those interested in learning more about the technical and creative aspects of editing. This includes students, communication professionals, journalists, filmmakers, artists, project managers, or anyone from other professions.
We work only in small groups – a maximum of 6 people!
Video Editing Workshop for Beginners is ideal for those who want to learn how to edit a short TV report, vlog, video, short documentary, or any video for social media. No prior experience is required.
In this 2-day workshop, we will cover:
• DaVinci Resolve Basics
• Cutting and Trimming Clips
• Basics of Color Correction
• Basics of Audio and Video Editing
• Adding Titles and Basic Graphics
• 2 Practical Exercises

• Dates: 14th and 15th of June 2025, 10:00 – 15:30 h (both days), with a prompt start at 9:45.
• Workshop Fee: €220, which includes refreshments, sandwiches, and an engaging, two-day educational experience. 15% discount for students who attended the audiovisual workshop.
• Materials: The fee also includes 7 pages of printed workshop notes and video rushes.
